USA Shipping Guidelines

Shipping Fees:

  • $20 (unlimited tubers)
  • $0.00 for each additional order (between 2/27/2026 and 4/01/2026)

We use USPS Flat Rate Priority shipping. If your order requires a larger box, we will cover the additional shipping cost.

  • LocalPU is the code to use at check out to waive shipping.  Email us when you are done with check out and we will coordinate a meet.  (Likely at the LCDS monthly meeting in April, May, or June.)

Important Information:

  • No Refunds on Shipping Charges: Once your order is placed, we will not refund shipping fees, even if we combine multiple orders into one box. Shipping fees will be considered final.
  • Combining Orders: We offer a checkout timer. Items in your cart are yours until the timer runs out or until you complete your checkout.
  • Coupons: It's your responsibility to apply the correct coupons at checkout.  They cannot be retroactively applied.  Combine shipping will automatically be applied if the address and email are the same.  We will not manually correct this if those do not match when you process the order.

Automatic Discount:

  • Free Shipping: Orders over $250 automatically qualify for free shipping!

For Canadian Customers: We've been tested and cleared of Meloidogyne Chitwoodi (Root-Knot Nematode).

NOTE:  The customer is responsible to pay their government agencies for all Duties, Taxes, and/or Tariffs.  We will not be responsible for packages being returned to us, or being destroyed due to failure to pay these fees. We will not be responsible for packages being returned to us, lost in transit, or delivered to the incorrect address.  Once the package is in USPS hands, claims will go through them, not us.

Important: All international orders require a Phytosanitary Certificate.

  • Phyto Cost: $40 USD
  • You only need to buy this once per shipment.
  • You can add the Phytosanitary Certificate to your order when purchasing tubers.

International Order Requirements:

  • Minimum Order: 5 tubers (mix and match).
  • Order Limit: Up to 5 tubers per variety.
  • Small Orders: Orders with fewer than 5 tubers will be canceled and refunded if processed by mistake.

Shipping Schedule:

  • Shipping Starts: 3rd weekend in April.
  • You’ll receive email updates on your order status.
  • Phytosanitary certificates need to be coordinated with the state for each order, so we pack and inspect orders together to avoid delays.

Shipping Rates:

  • Minimum of 5 tubers to ship Internationally.
  • All International orders need to ship in a Medium or larger box.  (5-50 tubers).  This is required, so all the customs paperwork can be placed on the outside of the box.  They will not fit on a smaller box. 
  • Canada: Estimated shipping cost: $70 USD
  • Other International Destinations: Estimated shipping cost: $100 USD
  • After the phytosanitary inspection, we will email you the actual shipping cost based on the weight of your package, and if necessary, we will ask for additional shipping costs.
  • We do not mark up shipping, but expect you to pay any additional fees prior to shipping. 
  • All orders MUST be shipped within 7 days of phyto cert inspection, or the phyto becomes invalid.

Note: We do not ship rooted cuttings internationally—only tubers.
